Cambrian College has announced a generous donation of $100,000 from Di Brina Family Holdings to support the college’s School of Business.

The funding will be used to create an endowment that will support various initiatives.

“Di Brina Family Holdings exemplifies a commitment to excellence, integrity, and community impact,” said president Michael Di Brina, in a press release.

“This contribution underscores our belief in the power of education to change lives and communities, and we are proud to support the School of Business in its mission to educate the next generation of leaders.

“By partnering with Cambrian College, we are not only empowering future generations of business leaders but also promoting the growth and prosperity of our communities.”

The new endowment will support what is known as an unrestricted fund. This unrestricted fund will allow Cambrian to allocate resources where they are most needed, supporting innovation, enhancing learning experiences, and ensuring the effective operation of the School of Business. From equipment upgrades to training programs and emergency expenses, the impact of this donation will be felt across various facets of the School of Business.

“The integration of our three- and four-year business degree programs has marked a significant

milestone in the growth and evolution of Cambrian College’s School of Business,” said Cambrian College president Kristine Morrissey.

“This remarkable contribution from Di Brina Family Holdings demonstrates their confidence in our School of Business and will provide crucial resources for the development and enhancement of educational initiatives, benefiting students and faculty for years to come and helping propel our students into careers in business.”

In recognition of this support, Cambrian College has named one of its primary School of Business meeting spaces the Di Brina Family Holdings Conference Room.
