This year's Tournois des Étoiles drew more than 600 hockey players, coaches and chaperones from across Ontario to Sudbury for the 15th Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord hockey competition, March 20-21.
"In a spirit of fraternity, camaraderie and competition, teams of Grade 7 and 8 students from francophone schools took their chances to win one of the many tournament banners," the board said in a news release.
Sudbury schools dominated in most divisions, with local schools winning gold in three of the four divisions.

Division A :
- École Notre-Dame, Hanmer - Gold
- École St-Paul/Thomas/ Charles Borromée, Sudbury - Silver
- École St-Joseph, Wawa - Bronze
Division AA :
- École Jean-Paul II, Val Caron - Gold
- École de la Rivière-des-Français, Noëlville - Silver
- École Ste-Marie, Azilda - Bronze
Division AA Elite:
- École Ste-Thérèse, Val Thérèse - Gold
- École St-Jospeh, Sturgeon Falls - Silver
- École Anicet-Morin, Timmins - Bronze
Division AAA :
- École du Sacré-Cœur, Timmins - Gold
- École Alliance St-Joseph, Chelmsford - Silver
- École Algonquin, North Bay - Bronze
