North Bay's Elijah Kazlauskas is one of the new Big Brother reality TV contestants.

Elijah Kazlauskas says he loves the reality TV series Big Brother.

Now, the 31-year-old English Second Language teacher from North Bay is going to be part of the show which airs on Tuesday, March 5 on Global and Stack TV.

"I am super nerdy about Big Brother Canada, just part of the charm," Elijah said in his introductory video.

Big Brother Canada, which is going into its 12th season, involves house guests competing in several competitions to win power and safety inside the house, before voting off one of the house guests during the weekly eviction.

Since it first premiered, Big Brother Canada has aired more than 300 episodes and has featured 173 house guests.

Elijah believes he was selected for the show because he is "enthusiastic, loveable, intelligent, jovial, adventurous and hilarious."

All 12 house guests are competing for the grand prize of over $200,000 in cash.

Elijah already has a plan if he wins.

"I would buy a plane ticket to somewhere cool after collecting enough interest from the prize money," he said.
