Sadly, summer is coming to an end and so is Sudbury.com's Summer's Best series. A series where we asked you, the readers, to help us find the best our city has to offer.

Over the course of eight weeks you've voted for Sudbury's best beachbest chip standbest golf coursebest splash pad, best chicken wing joint, the best patio and best mural.

There are a surprising number of Sudburians who still don't know the Grotto even exists.

With its panoramic view of the city, 16-foot fountain and peaceful walking paths, it's no wonder The Grotto was voted Sudbury's Best Hidden Gem.

Everyone is welcome to visit The Grotto, which is open to the public, at 271 Van Horne St. in Sudbury.
