CP 150 train arrives in Sudbury

Dean Brody draws a crowd to downtown train station

The CP Canada 150 Train rolled into Sudbury on Aug. 8, and throngs of Sudburians made their way downtown to catch a free concert by Juno award winner Dean Brody.

The Canadian musician was joined on stage by Kelly Prescott and the Railroad Ramblers. Crowds were also treated to a spectacular performance by three-time world hoop dancing champion Dallas Arcand.

Beginning July 28 in Port Moody, B.C., CP is hosting celebrations in 13 Canadian cities and towns.

The train will travel west to east, completing a reverse tour of the very first transcontinental passenger train trip made on June 28, 1886, which started in Montreal and travelled to Port Moody.
