Women, men, children, and even some four-legged friends gathered at Cambrian College Sunday morning for the CIBC Run for the Cure.
The run is the largest, single-day, volunteer-led event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and the Sudbury crowd came out in force.
Since its inception, the event has raised more than $360 million, which has been invested in breast cancer research by the Canadian Cancer Society and the former Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation combined.
Here in Sudbury, lads and ladies lined up to take part in either a 5 km or 1 km run or walk.
