Driver left roadway, crashed into unoccupied vehicles on driveway, causing extensive damage

The driver of a blue Subaru left pieces of their own vehicle behind after crashing into two unoccupied vehicles in a driveway on Third Avenue early on April 17.

Greater Sudbury Police have located the vehicle and driver involved in the hit and run incident.

The driver of the vehicle has been issued a summons under the Highway Traffic Act for Fail to Remain.

Police thanked the public for their assistance.

Greater Sudbury Police are looking for information that could lead to a driver who crashed into and damaged two unoccupied vehicles in a driveway on Third Avenue early this morning.

Just after 6:35 a.m. April 17, officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Third Avenue in Greater Sudbury.

Information provided was that at around 6:12 a.m. a light blue Subaru sedan was travelling northbound on Third Avenue, when the vehicle left the road, travelled onto the lawn of a residence and struck two unoccupied vehicles in the driveway. 

The driver of the vehicle drove off towards The Kingsway.

The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles in the driveway.

The blue Subaru involved in the collision will have extensive damage to the front bumper (see image above).
