A vehicle fire closed Highway 17 from Worthington Road to Fairbank Lake Road for a time early Wednesday morning.

The road closure was reported by both the MTO and the OPP around 7 a.m. However, the MTO reported via social media shortly after 8 a.m. that the road has since reopened. No further information is currently available.
