Laurentian University’s Science Art show, as part of the institute’s Research Week, marks it sixth year, bringing together more than 50 artists across Northern Ontario.
Started as a way to engage people on campus in science and art, showcases pieces of work with scientific concepts underlying it.
Taking part in the fun are scientist, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students.
“At its best, it causes us to think about a scientific concept that maybe we weren’t thinking about beforehand,” said Thomas Merritt, organizer of the exhibit and Canada Research Chair at Laurentian University.
