Denis Gerard Fournier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my father Denis Gerard Fournier at the age of 75 years on June 1, 2020 in Vauxhall, Alberta. Beloved son of Pierre
Fournier (predeceased in 1969) and Angele (Lavoie) Fournier (predeceased in 2002).
He leaves behind 3 daughters Lynn Fournier of Sudbury. Pierrette Fournier and Angela Fournier of Welland. He also leaves behind 5 grand children and 4 great grand children.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Irene (Taylor) Fournier and his 2 sons Matthew Fournier and Jared Fournier of Vauxhall, Alberta.
My father was one of 13 children. Roland (predeceased), Leo, Ronald (predeceased), Therese, Jeanette (predeceased), Fern (predeceased), Lawrence, Laurent (predeceased), Alcide, Beatrice (predeceased), Rudolph and Norman.
He will be missed by many in laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Even though my father was born and raised in Sudbury, ON. He lived out his life in a little town in Alberta.
Since the age of 18 years, he had a passion for driving transport truck and traveled pretty much all over Canada and the United States until his retirement in 2019, and with his handle being " Denis The Menace ".
He will be sincerely missed by all who loved him.
Dad, my love for you will always be in my heart and you will be truly missed.
Keep on trucking in heaven Dad.
There will be no funeral or service here in Sudbury, but a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
