Killian Mather McKessock Waddell died, fighting along side the Doctors and nurses at Sick Kids, October 15 2018. He was a day shy of 6 weeks old.
Killian was born September 4th to his parents Dean and Sheri Waddell at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He had been diagnosed with a congenital heart disease while in utero. Once he was born he was moved directly to Sick Kids Hospital. The family worked out the travel between Sudbury and Toronto with the help of the generosity of friends, family and complete strangers. He is so incredibly missed by his parents and brothers (Ryker and Malik). Killian will be loved, remembered and missed by his Neener and Papa, Carol and Ray St. Georges. His Wawa, Mary Waddell. His Grandpa, Steve McWade (Joyce). His aunts and uncles, Kelly and Rob Robitaille, Brendan Waddell (Kelly), Jody and Karen Waddell, Shannon and Stephanie St Georges and Sylvie St Georges. His amazing cousins, Colton, Bowen, Braydon, Taylor and Andrew. We believe he’s being cared for by his Grandpa (Don Waddell) and his Grandma (Shirley McWade). We can’t even begin to name the countless other friends and family who he was so loved by. We want to take the time to thank the community of Sudbury, and the extended friends, family and strangers to have reached out during this journey. The generosity of everyone allowed us the capability to spend as much time as we could with Killian, and we can never thank you enough. We will be having a celebration of his amazing life Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 2-6 at the Italian club in Copper Cliff. Anyone and everyone is welcome. Light snacks, coffee and tea, and a cash bar will be available. Dean and Sheri will be talking briefly around 3pm. So please come, have a drink and enjoy some company. We’ve learned how precious time is, so come and celebrate his life with us.
