On Saturday, June 4, 2016 just after 11:30 p.m. police received reports of an argument in the parking lot of the Travelodge Hotel located on Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.

A male had been arguing with a group of 3-4 people over how close they had parked their vehicle to his.

The argument ended, although a short time later the male returned to his car and began threatening the group with a knife.

Police attended and arrested and charged the 30-year-old Pickering male with weapons dangerous. He will appear in a Barrie court in July.
