Creepy clown mania has reached a new low, threatening Halloween itself.
Or so some knuckleheads on social media would apparently have you believe.
Things apparently reached the point today that Mayor Steve Black was forced to make the following proclamation (on his Facebook page):
"Despite prank posts rolling around social media Halloween is not cancelled in Timmins because of clowns. Please enjoy a safe Halloween. Drivers please use extra caution that evening as well.
"Have a safe Halloween everyone!"
