Dark chocolate sandwich crèmes brand recalled for undeclared milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a brand of treats due to an undeclared allergen.

Whole Foods Market says Certain 365 Everyday Value brand Dark Chocolate Sandwich Crèmes contained undeclared milk which wasn't listed on the label. 

The product, which came in peppermint and caramel sea salt flavours, was sold in stores across Ontario and online.

The recalled items have the best before dates of May 1, 2020 and May 9, 2020.

According to the CFIA, the recall was triggered by another recall in a different country. 

In Canada, no reactions have been reported, but anyone with a milk allergy is being told to not consume the product.
