West Nipissing Police are advising local merchants to pay particular attention to American $20 bills when accepting payment for merchandise.
A local business contacted the police to report that counterfeit bills had been tendered at a restaurant on August 14.
The bills that were tendered all have the same serial numbers. This is an indication that the bills are fraudulent.
The crooks are believed to be driving a white SUV type vehicle.
