NORTH BAY — New Ontario Brewing Company and KiSS 100.5 have collaborated again to create a beer in support of families battling Cystic Fibrosis.

New Ontario Brewing Company is a locally owned and operated brewery located in North Bay.

Earlier this week the partners announced the re-launch of Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale which officially took place during a Friday morning launch parter at New Ontario Brewing Company.

The two organizations partnered up initially to launch the brew back in 2017.

Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale is a blueberry wheat ale. A total of 50 cents from every can will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis North Bay.

Cystic Fibrosis is a common fatal genetic illness that affects thousands of Canadians. Currently there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Mike Harrison, President and Brewmaster, believes in this partnership.

“We brew this beer so that children with CF can one day soon have a cure," said Harrison in a release.

"The ability of children with CF to keep a positive attitude is an inspiration to me- and is the reason I love this project so much”

Kevin Oschefski, Program Director and Morning Show Host for KiSS 100.5, is motivated to get behind the cause.

“We’re so close to a cure for cystic fibrosis.  We owe it to our young people to do everything we can to get there. I look forward to the day where we can raise a glass and toast the fact that CF now stands for ‘cure found,'” said Oschefski.
