One female was killed in a two vehicle crash on Highway 400 at Essa Road on Monday night.
The southbound lanes of Highway 400 were closed from Dunlop Street to Mapleview Drive for the police investigation.
Barrie OPP say the collision involving a car and a transport truck, happened at the Essa Road onramp to the highway at about 9:30 p.m.
It is not known when the southbound highway will reopen.
