Foul play ruled out in death of Sault senior whose body found on St. Joseph Island logging road

SAULT STE. MARIE — Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has ruled out foul play in the death of Sally Gibson. 

The body of the 74-year-old Sault woman was discovered on a logging road on St. Joseph Island Aug. 25.

Gibson was reported missing by family Aug. 18. 

East Algoma OPP Const. Bev Gauthier informed SooToday via email that the cause of death is undetermined.
