In the car were four Guelph residents, as well as large quantities of what police say are fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.

A 56-year-old Guelph man is charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking (one count each), as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

A 46-year-old Guelph man faces charges of possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking (one count each).

Both are still in custody until appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Temiskaming Shores on Aug. 14.

A 53-year-old Guelph man also faces charges of possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, as does a 47-year-old woman from Guelph.

They were released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Temiskaming Shores on Oct. 22.
