Man airlifted, two others seriously injured in head-on collision in Erin, Ont.

TOWN OF ERIN – On June 13, 2016 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to the scene of a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Wellington Road 124, east of Erin Park Drive in the Town of Erin. 

Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS), Erin Fire and Emergency Services and Wellington County Roads Department attended the scene where a man driving a Chevrolet car was taken by air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.

The female passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. 

A woman driving a Dodge minivan was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, also with serious injuries. Their names cannot be released until next of kin have been notified.

The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI). 

Wellington Road 124 will be closed for approximately three hours between Erin Park Drive and Sir Winston Churchill Boulevard.
