South Simcoe Police were called to the Roadshow's 400 Antiques Mall in Innisfil Wednesday night following the second robbery in less than a week.

This time it was a break-in where suspects smashed the front door after the store had closed. The first incident was a distraction theft Friday morning.

"They hit six showcases all with high end jewellery. Probably got away with $100,000," said store owner Henry Jones, adding the crime was recorded on security cameras.

"The start time on the video was 6:45 p.m and by 6:49 p.m. they were gone. Two men in hazmat suits type thing. Little holders for their hammers to smash the showcases with big black bags and they scooped everything in and away they went. They were masked up. They had hoodies on."

On Friday, the store was the target of a $10,000 distraction theft.  Police called it a 'professional' heist and hope to identify a man and woman pictured on security video.

Last fall, Jones' store Roadshow Antiques Pickering had more than $50,000 worth of jewellery stolen during a break-in.

That surveillance video painted a shocking picture of that crime

"It was almost like a military operation. We had two guys who had ski suits on, white, so it reflects back from the cameras so you can't see them. They had hoods on. Night goggles. Lamps on their hats. They knew exactly which showcases to go for. Smashed the showcases, snatched all the jewellery in 11 seconds. It was unbelievable."

Jones suspects the same culprits are responsible for the break-in at the Innisfil store.

"It's almost an identical mirror-image robbery," said the distraught store owner, who was supposed to go on vacation Friday.

"It's looking pretty grim right now. Police got some footprints.  It looked like they were driving a dark SUV. They knew the building very well. They knew where to park. Very clever."

Jones and store manager Fred Pelton were notified of the break in by the security company after the alarm was triggered.

"It's crazy. It's just unbelievable," said Pelton. "This one's bad. On Friday, they took five pieces of jewellery that came to just over $10,000.  Now they've literally taken six full showcases, gunny sacks full.  We're talking hundreds of thousands instead of just $10,000. It's pretty brutal."

Anyone with information should call South Simcoe Police or Crime Stoppers.
