SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for shooting and abandoning a bull moose.
On December 9, 2018, conservation officers were made aware of an antlerless bull moose found dead by a member of the public. Officers attended kilometre 8 of A. Bois Road, north of Sioux Lookout, and located a bull moose that had previously shed its antlers. The officers believe that the moose was shot and abandoned sometime in late November or early December.
