No new fires in the northeast region for second day in a row

Currently 11 active fires in the region; two under control and nine that are being observed

No new forest fires have been confirmed in the northeast region as of this afternoon, Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services stated in a release issued today.

Currently, there are 11 other active fires in the region. Of these, two are under control and nine are being observed.

The fire hazard is mostly low to moderate across the Northeast region today, with the exception of the far north and the White River area, which are showing a moderate to high hazard.
