No charges laid in Hwy 11 crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old man

OPP say it was a North Bay man that died in that fiery crash north of Englehart this week.

The deceased has been identified as Kevin Chenier, 30, of North Bay. The investigation is complete and no charges will be laid.

At approximately 4:46 p.m. on December 11, members from the Kirkland Lake and Temiskaming Detachments of the OPP responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 11 just north of Englehart. 

A cube van collided with a tractor trailer. 

The collision caused the vehicles to catch fire. 

Assisting with this investigation are the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team, Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), Miller Group, Englehart Fire Department and Temiskaming Shores Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner-Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) in Sudbury,
