North Bay man went missing from Sudbury a month ago

Police say Charles Bemrose, age 59, was last seen leaving the Sudbury Downs OLG Slots & Casino in Azilda, on August 13th, at approximately 6:05 a.m.

There is growing concern for the safety of a North Bay man who disappeared a month ago near Sudbury.

Police say Charles Bemrose, age 59, was last seen leaving the Sudbury Downs OLG Slots & Casino in Azilda, on August 13th, at approximately 6:05 a.m.

Bemrose left the casino in his vehicle, a four-door purple 1998 Honda Accord with Ontario number plate BMJN720, as shown in the photo gallery. There is a large Summit Racing Equipment decal across the top of the rear windshield and a small Monster Energy Drink decal on the rear quarter light (window) of the door on the passenger’s side.

The missing man is described as:

  • a caucasian male,
  • approximately 5’-6” tall with a slender build.
  • brown eyes and a moustache.
  • hair on the side and back of his head but bald on the top and
  • often wears a baseball cap when in public.

Bemrose was a long time volunteer with the North Bay Snowmobile Club.
