The Ontario Hockey League’s return to play has some dates officially attached to it.

In a release issued Thursday afternoon, the league announced that training camps are expected to begin on Nov. 15 with exhibition games beginning the following weekend.

The league is continuing to work with government and health officials on arena attendance and travel between Canada and the United States for teams as well.

The league has targeted Dec. 1 as opening day of the regular season with the schedule set to conclude on April 29.

The OHL trade deadline, normally held in early January, has been moved to Feb. 10, 2021.

The playoffs are scheduled to open on May 2, 2021 and run until June 14.

As previously announced, the dates for the 2021 Memorial Cup are June 17 to 27 in either Sault Ste. Marie or Oshawa.

Details on when presentations will be made to determine the tournament host have not been made yet.

The 2021 OHL Priority Selection will be on May 8, 2021, a month later than usual, with the annual Under-18 Priority Selection happening on May 12, 2021.
