Police appeal for personal sightings, CCTV footage of missing man

Anyone who may have seen the missing 60-year-old in the Walmart parking lot on March 18 is asked to call police

TIMMINS — People who were near the Timmins Walmart on Saturday afternoon may be able to help police with a missing person investigation. 

Timmins Police are trying to determine the current location and well-being of 60-year-old Darrell James. A missing person alert was issued yesterday (March 20) and police are now asking for further help. 

Anyone who may have seen James the afternoon of March 18 in the Timmins Walmart parking lot should contact Timmins Police. Investigators are looking to confirm personal sightings of the missing man and access business CCTV footage or personal dash-cam video from the area at the time. 

James is described as a white man, who is 5' 8" tall and 165 pounds with grey hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, white running shoes and he may be wearing a read and black Choko brand snowmobile coat.

Anyone with viable information or relevant video footage should call police ASAP at 705-264-1201.
