STURGEON FALLS — A 30-year-old Sturgeon Falls man is facing two break and enter charges after he was allegedly caught stealing keys to a vehicle and then sneaking next door to take an ATV.
West Nipissing Police say on March 13, they received a call that an ATV had just been stolen from a residence on Vachon Road.
Police located the ATV travelling on Cache Street in Cache Bay. The ATV was stopped and the male driver detained.
Further investigation revealed the suspect had entered a garage on Vachon Road. There, it's alleged, the suspect stole a set of vehicle keys. The suspect was spotted by the home owner and left.
According to police, the suspect then went next door and entered another garage, and it's alleged that he then stole the ATV from that residence.
The suspect is facing two counts of break and enter, and one count each of theft over $5,000 and theft under $5,000.
