The OPP in the Kirkland Lake area is investigating a fatal two motor vehicle collision which occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 11 and 112 in Pacaud Township on Friday.
The male driver, a 34-year-old man from Kirkland Lake, Ontario died in the crash.
The driver of the other involved vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
The highway was closed for over seven hours while officers conducted their investigation.
Also assisting at the scene was the Kirkland Lake Fire Department.
The investigation into the cause of the collision continues.
