Possible fatality on Barrie GO line

No trains through the area for about 3 hours

There is a reported possibly fatality south of the Barrie South GO Station. 

Trains will not be able to move through the area for about 3 hours, according to the Barrie Train twitter.

South Simcoe Police tweeted that they are working with Innsfil Fire, Simcoe County Paramedics and Go Transit at a pedestrian struck on the Go Line south of Innisfil Beach Road. 

Police advise there are no road closures. 

GO Transit says passengers can take the Richmond Hill line this morning, the account advises, and the TTC at York Mills, Yorkdale, Sheppard West and Finch at staffed entrance 

It's the second pedestrian struck on the line this month.

On Oct. 6, a pedstrian was struck and killed in the area of Sideroad 20 and Innisfil Beach Road.
