The cold temperatures and large quantity of snow that we received in November means great things for winter sports fanatics.
Searchmont Resort is happy to announce that it will officially open this weekend, Dec. 8 and Dec. 9. Lifts will run from 9:30 a.m - 4 p.m on both the main and bunny hills. Adult/student tickets will be $40 each and senior (65+) and child (ages six to 12) will be $20 each.
Searchmont staff has been hard at work over the last two weeks making snow in an effort to open as soon as possible, and this last dump of snow has helped make that a reality.
This marks the first season that Searchmont will operate under its new ownership, Wisconsin Resorts Inc., who purchased the resort from the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation officially on Nov. 1 2018.
