1 / 1 With cold wintery weather, about 275 people were still on the ice at Sk8te Hollinger to try and set the record for the longest skating chain this afternoon in Timmins. The record was unofficially set earlier this month when just under 400 skaters gathered in Winnipeg. While the Family Day attempt was shy of being record breaking, they’ll be trying for the record books again during the March Break. Maija Hoggett/Timmins Today
