Three Samurai swords and numerous firearms stolen in break-in near Port Loring

EAST MILLS TOWNSHIP — North Bay OPP is investigating a break and enter that had some unusual weapons stolen.

Police say the theft was at a home on Highway 522 in East Mills Township, near Port Loring, that occurred between November 10 and 12. 

Numerous items were stolen including:

  • Three Samurai swords
  • Coins valued at approximately $2,000
  • Gold, platinum and silver bullion valued at approximately $50,000
  • Numerous firearms, including rifles, a shotgun, and a revolver. 

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this break, enter and theft to contact the North Bay OPP at (705) 495-3878 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
