A local family has finally received a life-changing wheelchair accessible van for their son, after many years of trying to secure funding. The purchase of the new vehicle was made possible by a number of community partners, with a large contribution coming from the President's Choice Children's Charity.
The Currie family is the first family from Sault Ste. Marie to receive funding from the charity in seven years, and our local No Frills owners were thrilled to see the money go towards such a worthy cause in our own city.
