The Temiskaming detachment of the OPP have documented 11 collisions involving moose and one collision involving a bear in June alone. The Temagami area seems to be particularly dangerous.

Moose:

  • June 7 - 12:30 a.m. - Hwy 11, Temagami
  • June 8 - 10 p.m. - Hwy 64, Temagami
