Young black bear shot and abandoned near Dryden

MNRF is investigating after a black bear was shot and left abandoned north of Dryden .

DRYDEN, Ont. - The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is investigating after a black bear was found shot and abandoned north of Dryden.

The young black bear was found on Oct. 1 northwest of Richan Road (Highway 665) on Amesdale Road by a member of the public who notified the MNRF. Conservation officers determined the bear had been shot and abandoned 15 metres off the road.
