Outings for long-term care residents will be paused starting Thursday in COVID-19 hotspots.

The provincial government announced today that homes in Ottawa, Toronto, and Peel regions will not permit short-term and temporary absences for social or personal reasons. Only absences for medical or compassionate reasons will be permitted, according to the province.
