Freezing rain and drizzle across Northeastern Ontario are causing a few issues with road travel on this Boxing Day.

A westbound lane of Highway 17 in Massey, at Seldom Seen Road, is closed due to a collision, the OPP said on twitter. The eastbound lane has reopened, however.

Highway 631 in White River is closed at Highway 17 due to hazardous road conditions brought on by the weather, and Highway 533 in Mattawa, between Highway 17 and Highway 63, has partially reopened, however heavy trucks are still restricted.

And drivers are reminded the speed limit on Highway 17 at Nipissing First Nation has been permanently changed to 80 km/h.
