Copper Cliff family physician Dr. Ian Symington is the federal Conservative Party candidate for the riding of Sudbury.

Families in Sudbury have been promised child care services continually by the Liberals and again, Trudeau is making these promises. Families don’t need to wait for Trudeau’s false promises, Erin O’Toole is putting  families first.

According to Ian Symington, Sudbury Conservative Candidate and family physician, “the Conservatives will  convert the Child Care Expense deduction into a refundable tax credit covering up to 75 per cent of the cost of child care, with lower income families receiving the most support. A Conservative government will work with the provinces to ensure the program is harmonized with provincial programs.”

“This is great news for our families in Sudbury, they will be in the driver’s seat when choosing the childcare options that work best for their children and it will be especially beneficial to those families who earn less than $50,000. This will help parents ease back into the workforce as we recover from the effects of the  pandemic,” said Symington.
