Visitors to Health Sciences North have the following parking options by location:
Ramsey Lake Health Centre / Emergency Dept.
(Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury):
Monthly parking pass for $80
Weekly parking pass for $30
Package of 10 parking tokens for $50*
Pay parking for $6/exit**
Short-term pay-as-you-go parking for $1/hour or $12 until midnight at P3 near Emergency Dept.
Sudbury Outpatient Centre
(Regent Street, Sudbury):
Monthly parking pass for $80
Weekly parking pass for $30
Package of 10 parking tokens for $50*
Pay parking for $6/exit**
Note: A $20 deposit is required when purchasing a parking pass which will be refunded once the card is returned.
Kirkwood Place
(Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury):
Monthly parking pass for $38
Pay parking for $3/hour**
Pay parking for $6/day**
Mental Health & Addictions Centre
(Cedar Street, Sudbury):
Pay parking at a City of Greater Sudbury meter or public parking lot.
Please visit the Finance office on Level 1 of the South Tower at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre for passes and tokens, or purchase tokens in the HSN Boutique. For the Sudbury Outpatient Centre, passes can be purchased at the Finance Department in Room M001 on the lower level. There are also change machines available at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre and Sudbury Outpatient Centre.
The Finance office is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The HSN Boutique is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday & Statutory Holidays open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There are two types of parking passes available for visitors and patients at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre:
Regular visitor / patient parking passes give you access to P4 lot and P1/P2 South Tower lots.
Modified visitor / patient parking passes for those requiring accessibility / handicap parking give you access to P4 accessible lot, P2 accessible lot and P7 accessible lot. A handicap permit must be presented to Finance upon purchase

* Tokens do not expire.
** Please note that the parking machines accept quarters, loonies and toonies only.
Expanded Parking Lot Plan
In Fall 2014, HSN and the Idylwylde Golf and Country Club finalized an agreement for the purchase of 3.8 hectares (9.3 acres) of land.
This property allows HSN to enhance the parking spots available for patients, with more spaces being located closer to the main entrance to the hospital. It is estimated that an additional 965 parking spots will be created at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre.
Site preparation work is expected to begin in late Fall 2014.Construction will take a phased approach to minimize any inconveniences to patients, visitors and staff.
Parking Quick Facts
Construction Phase
Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2014 and be completed by summer 2015.
Construction will take place between 7 AM and 7 PM.
Approximately 60 parking spaces in the south parking lot will be unusable during the construction phase; this will be the only impact on parking at HSN during construction.
There will be no impact for emergency vehicles during this time.
The New Parking Lot
The expanded lot will hold approximately 965 new spaces.
Patient parking will be our main priority with more available spaces located closest to the main entrance.
We will install a fence that will enclose the parking lot.
A 66 foot landscaped buffer will be established between the parking lot and the homes that border the parking lot area.
No additional vehicle entrances or exits will be created as part of this plan.
A new energy efficient LED lighting system will be used reducing glare into the neighbourhood.
