Another case of COVID-19 has been reported by Public Health Sudbury and Districts (PHSD).

This is case number 101 and it is the seventh case in the past six days reported by PHSD.

The latest case is described as a contact of a travel related case in the Greater Sudbury area, and the person is self-isolating.

Because of a new policy introduced by the health unit last week, no information was provided on the person's gender or age.

Through contact tracing, Public Health Sudbury will notify all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered a close contact.

Prior to this most recent spike in reported confirmed cases in the Sudbury health unit jurisdiction, the last reported case (No. 94) was reported on Aug. 22.
