The fraud trial against Ecolife Home Improvements owner David Murray will resume Sept. 1.

After that, the trial will continue Sept. 20, Oct. 12, Oct. 22 and Nov. 1.

The 15-day trial started in March. There are more than 30 witnesses testifying against Murray, who faces 35 counts of fraud over $5,000 dating back to May 7 of 2016 and running through to March 28, 2019. The total of the alleged frauds is estimated at $800,000.

Dozens of witnesses have already testified, detailing their interactions with Murray and his business, Ecolife Home Improvements. Each witness told the court they have lost a substantial amount of money waiting for work to be done, work that has yet to be done even now.

He is being represented by defence lawyer Antoine Fabris.
