Who We Are

We are people with and without intellectual disability, sharing life in communities belonging to an International Federation. Mutual relationships and trust in God are at the heart of our journey together. We celebrate the unique value of every person and recognize our need of one another.

Our Mission

Make known the gifts of people with developmental disabilities, revealed through mutually transforming relationships.

To foster an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of our members, whilst being faithful to the core values of our founding story.

Engage in our diverse cultures, working together toward a more human society.

A Look Into L’Arche Sudbury…
L’Arche Sudbury is proud to have three homes where people with and without intellectual disabilities can live, work, pray, and celebrate the gift of sharing life with one another. These three beautiful homes are named Bethany House, Galilee House, and Jericho House.

Our community is blessed with a strong Board of Directors and compassionate assistants, all of whom are dedicated to building relationships and offering folks a comfortable environment to live in. The L’Arche community is unlike most service agencies. In fact, it is a unique service agency that truly values the importance of forming meaningful friendships
