As a leading orthodontist serving Sudbury, Parry Sound, Espanola, Dr David D'Aloisio and his dedicated team are proud to offer a wide range of orthodontic treatment plans for each of our patients.

Dr. D'Aloisio received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1984. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Western Mustangs varsity football team, who went to the National Championships in 1981 and won the provincial championship in 1982. Prior to college football with Western, he played for the Sudbury Spartans Football Team, carrying his team to two NFC Championships while winning league MVP in 1982 and most valuable offensive player in 1983. In 1982 he broke the record for most running yards (256) in a single game.

Dr. D'Aloisio received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from the University of Western Ontario and also earned the prestigious Orthodontic Award in that same year. The award is given to the student who demonstrates exemplary clinical and academic acumen in Orthodontia. He then went on with his passion for the field of Orthodontics. He continued his education at the University Of Detroit Mercy where he received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics in 1990. Concurrent wit the specialty training Dr David D'Aloisio completed a masters thesis which examined the correlation in Craniofacial Development between Caucasians and North American Blacks. The findings were so relevant that it selected for publication in the prestigious American Journal of Orthodontics in 1992. Other publications include a functional appliance study published in Canadian Dental Journal in 1989.

Dr. Dave D'Aloisio is a firm believer in continuing his education and expertise to better serve his community. On a local level, he was the president of the Sudbury Dental Society and provincially, a member of the Student's Committee of the Ontario Dental Association. He is active in many professional organizations including the American and Canadian Orthodontic Associations.

Dr. D'Aloisio makes time to continue his education and encourages the staff to do the same. He takes interest in the community by sponsoring local teams/clubs, and always finds time to enjoy the company of his son.
