Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. is a licensed alternative to traditional funeral homes serving the City of Greater Sudbury and surrounding area. Locally and independently owned and operated by a licensed funeral director, Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services is a transfer service licensed by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario. As a transfer service, we do not offer embalming or days of visitation.
We offer simple but dignified arrangements to families who choose basic cremation or burial at an affordable price. We are available to meet with you either at our facility, at your residence or through online correspondence.
Direct Cremation - We offer simple but dignified arrangements to families who choose basic cremation at an affordable price. Direct cremation takes place without any embalming of the body, viewing or funeral services. The service involves the transportation of the deceased from the place of death and subsequently to the crematorium.
Direct Burial - Direct burial takes place without any embalming of the body, viewing or funeral services. The service involves the transportation of the deceased from the place of death and subsequently to the cemetery of your choice.
Pre-arrangements - We recommend that you consider pre-arranging your final wishes in order to provide peace of mind for your loved ones. There is no cost associated with pre-arranging your services and this ensures that your wishes are planned in advance. You can change or modify your arrangements at any time, and this can be done at a place and time of your choice.
