Kenjgewin Teg has over 25 years’ experience delivering quality, comprehensive educational programming on Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island).

Through partnerships with Ontario universities and colleges, Kenjgewin Teg offers a wide variety of programs in Health and Wellness, Teaching and Learning, and Skills and Trades & Apprenticeships.

Kenjgewin Teg also offers a flexible adult learning environment through our Pathways to Post-secondary and Employment program to support students in achieving their academic and career goals.

In January of 2022, Kenjgewin Teg became an accredited Indigenous Institute in Ontario, granted by the Indigenous Advanced Education and Skills Council (IAESC). Indigenous Institutes are the third pillar in Ontario’s post-secondary education sector. As an accredited Indigenous Institute, Kenjgewin Teg can offer its own certificates, diplomas, and degrees, in addition to continuing its long-standing partnerships with mainstream colleges and universities.
