Lorrie has been a nationally certified audiologist since 1997 and has a passion for educating her patients so they understand their hearing loss and solutions to manage it. She is a member of Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC), The Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA), and is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Lorrie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Laurentian University, a Master of Clinical Science Degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario, and a Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She is certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) under Dr. Pawel Jastreboff, and has completed other advanced tinnitus training. She works with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) as a community learning site, allowing medical students into her practice to observe and learn about the importance of hearing healthcare.
We provide services in English, French and American Sign Language (ASL). Our staff have been trained by the Alzheimer's Society in the Blue Umbrella Program providing barrier-free and compassionate services to those in our community living with dementia.
How well you can hear may have a major impact on your quality of life. We have many different hearing products available to help you with your listening needs.
For those that want to educate themselves further on living with hearing loss, we have included many resources such as an online hearing screening and e- books & articles to keep you informed on hearing health.
