Cooperative Funeral Home, established in Sudbury in 1952, aims to satisfy the needs of grieving families by using a simple, caring and professional approach. Our goal is to serve all nationalities, expressions and religions in the Sudbury area by following their cultural traditions.

Through our three locations in Sudbury, Chelmsford and Hanmer, we offer a full range of services, everything from traditional funerals with services at a church or in one of our on-site chapels to celebration of life gatherings or simple direct cremations.
Our reason to exist is to listen to our families and provide the service they request to satisfy their need during a most difficult time.
Keeping this in mind and, in light of some changes in provincial laws and an overwhelming increase in the request for cremations, we are most proud to announce the opening of our state-of-the-art crematorium.
The Cooperative Crematorium is located at 4691 Regional Rd. 15 at our Chelmsford location. This allows us to care for our families and clients throughout the entire process, avoiding having to contract out the cremation or travel hundreds of kilometres out of town as we`ve done in the past.
