June 3 event raises funds for wildlife refuge in Lively

“With over three decades of entertaining audiences around the world, Mark’s special blend of comedy delivered through ventriloquism, creates a wonderful mixture of old versus new,” a press release said.
 
The event takes place at the Sixth Avenue Golf & Country Club in Lively.
 
Attendees will enjoy a three-course dinner, as well as silent and live auctions throughout the evening. Auction items include artwork, experiences, merchandise and gift packages.
 
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $60 each or $450 for a table of eight. Visit wahrefugecentre.org. Please note this is an 18+ event.
 
Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre is a not-for-profit organization and a registered charity located in Lively. 
 
For more than 30 years, in association with the Walden Animal Hospital, the centre has been providing veterinary care and treatment to orphaned, injured, or sick wild animals so that they may return to the wild. 
 
Dedicated volunteers provide daily care for over 900 animals it receives annually – everything from songbirds to moose.
