The earthdancers are inviting Sudburians to help make a difference in their fight for a greener, healthier planet.

"Climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, global warming, and the melting of the polar ice caps, these are words we hear more and more often in the debate over environmental
issues," said a news release from earthdancers.

"Earthdancers has been working for environmental change for more than two decades but now, more than ever, it is important that we rally together to try to make a difference."

The group started off in 1990 talking about climate change and now, 27 years later, these issues still exist.

On April 20, 21 and 22 (April 22 is Earth Day) the earthdancers invite you to join in their fight to save tomorrow with a seriers of performances at Le Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario at Collège Boréal.

Year after year, the earthdancers have been passionately striving to do their part for a greener, healthier earth. Through their benefit dance performances, this group of students has raised over $138,000 in support of regreening communities, helping to restore the bee population, preserving wildlife, and reducing our carbon footprint.

They ask you, their audience, to join them this April at their 26th annual performance where they will donate every penny raised from their ticket sales to environmental causes.

"The earthdancers believe that people of all ages should be part of working for a better tomorrow and they hope that you will participate in their efforts to help heal our world for future generations," said the news release.

"Won’t you join these dancers ages 10 and up as they continue to build on the legacy they have received by using their art to build a better tomorrow?"

Organise a group of friends to come see the show, or come on your own or with a date.

Performance dates:

Thursday, April 20 7:30 p.m.
Friday, April 21 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 22 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
